Short Shorts Stories pay homage to classic tales, old and new, through parody. Each month, check out the Read & Watch Club for The Narrator’s favorite books and movies that have inspired each story.

Research suggests that kids who are read to regularly begin learning language and literacy skills earlier in their development. Reading benefits older kids and teenagers by helping to develop stronger social skills, vocabulary and writing skills, and helps them to better understand and process more complex ideas. Spending time together as a family builds confidence, teaches children about interacting with others and creates long-lasting memories.
